SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE

Simple Present Tenses digunakan untuk mengekspresikan aktivitas yang setiap hari dilakukan yang terjadi sampai saat ini.

Simple Present Tense mempunyai rumus  :

Rumus Pertama

·         Positive (+)

Subject  +  Verb 1 (e/es) + Object  + Adverb

·         Negative (-)

Subject  +  Do/Does  +  Not + Verb 1 + Object  +  Adverb

·         Introgative (?)

Do/Does  + Subject  + Verb 1 + Object  + Adverb

Catatan :
Jika subjek menggunakan "He, She and It", Maka setelah verb (kata kerja) harus diberi "s" or "es"
"es" diberi ketika:
1. setelah verb adalah kata x : fix => fixes
2.setelah verb adalah kata ss : kiss => kisses
3. setelah verb adalah kata sh : brush => brushes
4. setelah verb adalah kata ch : watch => watches
5. setelah verb adalah kata o : go => goes

                Contoh :

Ø  Positive (+)
     ü  I study english

Ø  Negative (-)
     ü  I do not tell a lie

Ø  Introgative (?)
     ü  Does my friend care about my problems?

Rumus Kedua

·         Positive (+)

Subject  +  To Be  +  Complement (Noun/Adj/Adv)

·         Negative (-)

Subject + To Be + not + Complement (Noun/Adj/Adv)

·         Introgative (?)

To Be + Subject + Complement (Noun/Adj/Adv)
